Damian Wilson's Garden Gig glory...

July 1, 2019

The FACE Garden Gig starred legendary vocalist DAMIAN WILSON

We enjoyed a wonderful atmospheric evening in Alan Feast's beautiful garden, listening to the talented songwriter and rock musician, Damian Wilson - who has toured with Rick Wakeman, starred in Les Miserables and has appeared on over 70 album releases. He was accompanied by local musician Andrew Holdsworth they have been friends for years and will be playing together in the future.

The garden was packed, the songs were amazing - especially the chorus HomeGrown and (perfect for the People's Republic of Tooting) Let's build a Commune... and the neighbours loved it too!

Everyone enjoyed a delicious gourmet BBQ - featuring beer-basted chicken, with drinks flowing - to support FACE local charities, including South London MNDA, St George’s TYA room, Furzedown Youth Club and the Furzedown Foodbank.
