Thank you Gareth...

Our neighbour Gareth was told in 2010 that he had Motor Neurone Disease. Sadly he passed away in March 2012.

At his service in St Pauls' Church in Furzedown, hundreds of people paid tribute to him and remembered his generosity, enthusiasim, good humour and courage. 
He was central to FACE's activities and will be sadly missed, especially at committee meetings with his battle cry of... "Get on with it!"

The Rose and Crown in Tooting Bec have made Furzedown FACE their local charity partner.
This is a great local pub, close to the common and popular with families and locals, which serves excellent craft beers and tasty gourmet pizzas, as well as having quiz nights on Thursdays and activities like 'Lego Robot Wars'.They will be raising money on their charity nights for local causes as well as giving prizes and helping support other events. Cheers!
