FACE success

Our Garden Gig was an amazing success - with Jennifer Owens, Tony Willard and Daniella Tushevska accompanied by Andrew Holdsworth (who produced the event) and featuring his daughter Arianna and  pupils from GraaveneyRead more about the night HERE

Thank you to everyone who came to our plant sale and helped raise nearly £800. Recently we have given £1,200 to the South London branch of MNDA which are really struggling to provide help to families facing this terrible diagnosis during lockdown.

We are also helping Little Village and gardening initiatives like the Women's Garden Project. Since 2020 we've helped The Furzedown Project, the local food bank, Furzedown Youth Group and Penworthan Junior School create an urban garden in their playground.

We now have a contactless card reader - this is available for any local groups or charities to borrow  - please get in touch!

We are always looking for new sponsors, raffle prizes and people to help join the fundraising fun!

Thanks to everyone who came to our plant sale. We help to support several community garden initiatives including The Women's Garden Project

FACE is sponsoring a wonderful local initiative that was started to help women with a refugee background living in our area. It  is based in Tooting Community Garden and is a weekly session of gardening, crafts, cooking, socialising and practicing English. Read more HERE

Who we're helping...
  • Our neighbour Gareth died from MND so we're raising money for the local South London Motor Neurone Disease Association that helped him and his family.

  • Face is helping Furzedown go green by helping several local gardening initiatives - we are sponsoring the Women's Garden Project at Tooting Community Garden, have provided planters for a local nursery playground, supported an urban garden in Penworthan School and helped Furzedown guerrilla gardeners

  • We are helping The Furzedown Youth Club and supporting their new after-school drop-in initiative. Also paid for a First aid course, indoor activities and bought a vacuum cleaner.

  • Thanks to Furzedown, St George's Hospital  are  providing a special chill-out area for young people undergoing cancer treatment and donated to Teens Unite.

  • We have helped the local Multiple Sclerosis group set up a special chair-based weekly yoga class in Wandsworth

  • As well as sponsoring their minibus, we have provided The Furzedown Project with a life-saving defibrillator and media resources to enhance their fitness programmes and community talks plus ongoing support for their website.

  • We have paid to train four specialist swimming volunteers for handicapped children in Wandsworth

  • We supported a half-term cookery course at The Graveney Canteen

  • We also make regular donations to Furzedown Foodbank for items not donated
