Furzedown Festival success

Our little local festival in Furzedown is getting bigger and better every year!

This year on Saturday 13 June thousands of people came along to enjoy music, food and drinks and we were kept very busy selling our lovely Heyland & Whittle goodies and gorgeous plants – our hand-made ‘Furzedown’ window boxes were very popular and sold out!

Wandsworth mayor visited our stall and also our local MP Sadiq Khan, who is now running to be London Mayor, he is patron of MNDA and bought a couple of festival raffle tickets and amazingly he WON! (maybe a good omen for him?)

Thanks to everyone who came and helped us raise over £2,000 for local causes
