Chilled-Out on Chillerton!

As part of The London Mayor's Community Weekend we enjoyed a very special Chill-Out on Chillerton Road Street Party!

As well as lots of fun, with activities and treats for everyone on the street, there were representatives from local charities including The Furzedown Project, Walk & Talk Wandsworth, Sprout Arts hub and local gardening groups - helping promote what's going on in the area, including volunteering opportunities.

The plant sale included Giant Sun Flowers, Halloween Pumpkins, Tomato & Chilli plants and every child on the street was offered a free sunflower plant (or similar). There were also stalls raising money for local causes, arts and crafts, fun games and challenges - including a tug-of-war, delicious foods, music and the opportunity to try something new.
