Celebrating 25 years of FCN and 15 years of FACE!

2026 marks the 25th anniversary of Furzedown Community Network (FCN), which ran it's first community event in 2001, they are planning lots of celebrations throughout the year - visit their website HERE. it is also 15 years since FACE's charity events started, and we've raised an amazing £100,000 for local causes!

The joint Quiz Night was opened by Wandsworth's Mayor, Cllr Jeremy Ambacher, and was packed, with over 100 people coming to enjoy the night - the winning team was 'Parking is Such Sweet Sorrow' and we raised an amazing £2,471 for local charities that 'Keep Furzedown Warm & Fed' with donations going to Furzedown Foodbank in Mitcham Lane Baptist Church, as well as local charities including Tooting Community Kitchen, Dons Local Action Group and Be Enriched. We were sponsored by Furzedown's lndependant estate agents Alexander Seymour.

Local businesses donated wonderful prizes:

• A celebratory Furzedown Hamper with well-being and relaxation treats, Moet Champagne, luxury Chocolates and much more! Contributing local artists and makers include Blue Tree Kitchen, Rose & Herb, Versatelier Tea, Furzedown Art Studio, Chilli Bros and Urban Wine.

• A Painting Experience for two worth £50 from The Purple Owl in Wandsworth

• 1-to-1 Pilates Session with Eva from Body Efficient Pilates

• The winning quiz team will each receive a £5 voucher from Next Door Baker on Moyser Road
